A while ago, someone talking about the dead Venezuelans run over, said that all this is the fault of the Chavistas, that all the deaths that occur in Venezuela in the midst of the socialist regime, however they occur, are the fault of this regime.
...And the question of a Christian would be: Is everything that is happening in Venezuela really the fault of Chavismo and Madurismo and communism?
It will not be because of the arrogance of the Venezuelan, it will not be because of a proud, arrogant and rebellious church that even though God sent prophets since the late nineties alerting the church to straighten up and there were phrases like the one that a pastor said to him as a of mockery to one of the prophets: "Let the curse fall, we take responsibility"
Rather, it will not be the church's fault that when God sent messengers to warn, they responded mockingly: "The church is in victory, while shepherds defrauded their own sheep, and there was fornication and adultery like sand in the Sahara.
Rather, a modern church that still does abominable things and does not intend to turn away from evil but that complains that God does not respond to its long vigils and fasting and crying will not be guilty. Who pays attention to the first part of 2 Chronicles 7:14 but does not turn from his evil path.
A church that does not sincerely recognize its sin but rather says "I secretly asked God for forgiveness" and does not make restitution or change as long as it does not stop doing injustices will not be guilty.
We want the country to depart from its evil path when the church itself does not depart from its evil path and to make matters worse they stone anyone who brings correction as Matthew 23:37 says.
They forgot or do not want to remember that their favorite verse says in one part "If MY PEOPLE will humble themselves, if HIS PEOPLE will turn from their evil ways" (2 Chronicles 7:14)
Isaiah 1:10-12
«What makes you think that I want your sacrifices? —says the Lord—.
I am sick of your burnt offerings of rams and the fat of fattened cattle.
I do not like the blood of bulls or lambs or goats.
12 When you come to worship me, who asked you to parade through my courts with all that ceremony?
Hosea 6:6
For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.
1 Samuel 15:22
And Samuel said, Does the LORD take as much pleasure in burnt offerings and sacrifices as in his obeying the words of the LORD? Surely to obey is better than sacrifices, and to heed than the fat of rams.
But the current church does not want to know God, just like Saul they are worried about what people think of them, to look good "with the people" (1 Samuel 15:30)
Having the favor of the people, having full churches even though they are full of injustice, unconfessed sins and evil.
Here is the church that says that the fault lies with Chavismo and with the babalaos and with the Catholics because they worship idols.
I have heard so many Christians say that they are frustrated because there are so many vigils and fasts and God still hasn't gotten Venezuela out of this!
But the same thing continues to be repeated as in ancient times: "The ox knows its owner and the donkey knows its master's manger; but Israel does not know, my people have no understanding" (ISAIAH 1:3)
A nation that really wanted to repent tells the Bible that They asked them to bring "the book" (Nehemiah 8:1) but today the church is not interested in "The Book" because they are going to go crazy if they study "the book" too much. Another thing they did apart from humbling themselves was that they confessed their sins and even those of their parents (Nehemiah 9:2)
But Christians in Venezuela feel frustrated because they fast and pray and God still does not accommodate Venezuela. (while they continue without acknowledging their sins)
And the tremendous thing is that many do not recognize their sins so as not to feel humiliated in front of the church. Once again the "Saulonic" spirit manifested.
And yes, it is easier to say that the fault lies with Maduro and Chavez and the socialists and communists but the truth is that not my brother, they are partly to blame but the great fault lies with you and I and every Christian in this country. country.
I pray that God moves every heart of every Christian in Venezuela to true repentance, because that is another thing that happens a lot: "Repentance to appear humble."
And I pray to God for a Christian people who say like Nehemiah chapters 8 and 9 and say "Bring the Book" and listen to every word without manipulating them and standing up we confess our sins no matter what they may think on earth about us.
Kisses
