Restaurants

December is coming and the war is about to begin between those who say that Christians should celebrate Christmas and those who say they should not. The truth is that I prefer to celebrate it, but I do not fight with those who do not celebrate it, although I do not do like the apostle Peter when the Apostle Paul publicly scolded him (Galatians 2:11-14) -By the way, the apostle Paul is very bad, because a A good leader never corrects in public, please no longer recognize him as an apostle because he is not at the level of today's crystal generation.

Well, now it's clear that we have to stop calling brother Pablo an apostle (It's sarcasm) Oh! And what do we do with Jesus who corrected half the world in public and even insulted them? Better get back to what I'm going for.

The truth is that, although I am not going to talk about Christmas in this publication, I needed to put that story in context for what I plan to explain.

In December of last year I spent a few days in my country and I was surprised that for the first time in many years the church was not decorated for Christmas and then I heard a conversation where they asked the person in charge of the church radio to be told that They will not play Christmas music. I kept meditating on all that, especially because for years I heard pastors defend Christmas. And no, it was not that they obtained a new revelation from God, it was something else that they are going to discover.

Well, I returned to the city where I live, and a few weeks later I heard Pastor Juan Manuel Vaz talk about the "Churches-Restaurants" Churches where the attendees are treated like customers and the "Church-Restaurant" adapts its "menu" according to the tastes of the "clientele"

And apparently that was what happened to the church in the city where I come from, at one point they realized that most of the people they have don't like to celebrate Christmas so "We don't celebrate Christmas anymore then" even though for They had done it for years and they fought against anyone who was against - As long as they were not the majority obviously, because when the majority did not agree, they changed the menu-

This may not seem too relevant, but in reality it is, because "restaurant churches" start by changing one small thing and then end up changing EVERYTHING! even the teachings and preaching in a way that is to the taste of the "clientele".

They sacrifice the truth, they sacrifice the true gospel in order to keep the clientele comfortable because the truth is, today there is a lot of competition from "restaurants" and if you do not treat them well and give them the food they like, they can change. restaurant. And if there are no customers, how can the restaurant sustain itself?

I remember the pastors of that church-restaurant in the city where I come from telling me: "We are old now, we have a sick son..."

I think that the moment you think that it is because of the people in the church that the pastors eat, at that moment the pastors forgot who they follow and who they once believed in.

And don't get me wrong, I know that we fight in the flesh and the flesh has needs and it was obvious to think what those pastors thought, the problem is not thinking, the problem is accepting the thought and not submitting the thought to obedience to Christ.

Today most churches are "Churches-Restaurants" always looking for ways to attract more customers and if possible make a franchise. That is why this heretical method of the G12 was so successful, because its goal was to fill the churches with people and not the people of God.

And like the G12 there are a thousand more methods, always the same approach, creating many "restaurant churches" that are always full and like everything heretical and false, have a correct appearance, that is, "Reach the greatest number of souls *for Christ *"

Jesus never sought crowds, and he did not change his message or his ways to attract more people. All the true men of God who have ever lived have agreed on one thing, that True Gospel is the most offensive message that exists because it tells people that they are wrong, that they are a sinner and that they must repent.

It's an offensive message because no one likes to be told it's wrong, but it's the right message. And Jesus never changed his message or his ways with the excuse of "Reaching the greatest number of people for God *"

I think that real churches should start putting a message at the entrance that says "This is not a restaurant" so that people are clear and leave at once if what they are looking for is a restaurant.

And where do you attend? To a pillar and bastion of truth (1 Tim 3:15) or to a Church-Restaurant?

Kisses I am the profebubba.
