One of the most interesting things that happen at Christmas is that they discover beings that have always been there among us, but that these dates do the same thing to them that Jesus did to the Pharisees.
People who know nothing about mercy, you ask them for money to help the poor and they tell you that they don't have it, that if you want they can give you a Bible study, and they finish with "I give you what I have."
People so cold-hearted that they do not even respect those who thought great men of God of ancient times like Charles Haddon Spurgeon who said: "Celebrate, Christians, celebrate; you have the right to celebrate. Celebrate the birth of your savior" or John Calvin who stated: "Christmas is the fulfillment of God's ancient promise, the incarnation of the Word, the birth of Jesus Christ, in whom God's love for lost humanity is revealed to us."
Now is this bad? Is it bad that these beings are discovered?
Well, it's not all bad, although it's a little annoying to see their publications on the networks, it's good that they are shown because it is on these dates that they show what they really are: "Pharisees, to whom Jesus publicly dedicated the greatest insults that we can find people throughout the Bible"
Yes, it is curious that one of the occasions where we can find the greatest number of insults towards people was done by Jesus and precisely towards people who boasted of knowledge and respecting the laws of God but who forgot the most important ones, those that have to do with with love and mercy.
But go and learn what this means: “What I ask of you is mercy and not sacrifice.” For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.
Matthew 9:13
Let's take advantage of these dates to know who they are, and take care of them at the beginning of the new year, because after these dates they will still be there among us, but they will be hidden again and will continue to be cold people without love for their neighbor and without mercy who will have the appearance of piety but will deny the effectiveness of it (2 Timothy 3:2, 4-5) It is good to know who they are because the Apostle Paul in these verses tells us that we should avoid them: "...them avoid them" (2 Timothy 3:5 )
It does bother me to have to see their posts and hear them spout all their self-righteousness, but let's take advantage of this time to find out who they are before January arrives and they put their masks back on and we can't recognize them.
Kisses, I am Profe Bubba
