Emotion? Yeah? No? Helpyyy

A few days ago I published a video by Sugeil Michelen about emotionalism in the church, a video with which I totally agree. Someone commented that they are Catholics disguised as Christians, I want to explain this as best I can.

I agree with emotions, we are humans we have emotions, Jesus himself manifested emotions. The problem is emotionalism as the video said, preachers whose objective is to give an emotional release instead of a spiritual release, Praise services where praise is a show directed by a "Showman". Cults where people leave excited but not edified.

I recently made a post about worship directors who excite people and I want to make it clear that those boring worship services are NOT BIBLICAL. Those praise services where everything is super boring are not biblical.

If you investigate what praise is like in heaven (The Book of Revelation among others shows what it is like) you will realize that the model of heaven is not praise that makes you sleepy. If you read the book of psalms, which is our guide on how to worship and praise God, we will see surprising things for many. I think I'm going to write a post just about that for you to see.

Buuuut there's this what I always say... "Balance." It is one thing to read all the verses that I am going to give when I talk about what the book of psalms says about praise and what heaven is like and another thing is to have a "Showman" in front and a whole show that does not You know if it's a club or if you're in church or if at any moment "Dj Pastor" or David Guetta or Tiesto appears.

I have also seen people shouting "Praise God" in a sermon while the pastor all excited shouts a bunch of heresies in the pulpit. And that's the problem, when more emotions are manipulating you, you don't even know if what they are telling you is true. Others don't shout but they still manipulate your emotions thanks to their wonderful "Christian Coaching" courses. Be careful, let's not think that emotionalist cults are only where there is shouting, Danilo Montero, Andrés Corson... they don't shout but their preaching is 100% emotional.

I have seen and have proof of this, from pastors who every Sunday what they do is (as the video I published says) give an emotional release to people and people become addicted to that. And I repeat, I repeat, those boring preachings are not biblical because the Holy Spirit is a river, it is fire, it is life and you are going to tell me that you are full of the Spirit while you talk as if your entire family had been killed.

The problem is that people want to show that they have something of God by shouting. And others, exciting people, took a hundred "Christian" coaching courses and can now give great preaching that only the emotional, carnal and immature in the faith will accept as "great preaching."

Get people excited and the (emotional) people will say "How tremendous today's worship"

I think that once in this group I wrote about two types of pastors that I had, one preached and everywhere you could hear shouts of "Glory to God" and people left the church excited. When the other preached, the words were like daggers that penetrated and no words could come out and at the end of the service you only came out thinking about the things you should change in your life.

And I continue with the balance thing, yes, a pastor should encourage, "God is going to be there, God is going to help you," but the idea is not to leave the service alone with an emotional discharge.

I hope you understand the difference. Do you want to know how pastors who give emotional releases are pure coaching?: Most of the current ones, "Yesenia, Tucci, all those from CCN, Corson, Ricardo Rodríguez (pastor from Colombia) Danilo Montero (the father of the type preachers coaching -Then I will make a publication about coaching in the church-) even Harrigan is falling into that and 99% of those who go through the link...

I'm not talking about Pentecostals because everything is already obvious with Pentecostals, emotionalism, over-acting, changes in voice, cramps that people take as a sign that they have the Holy Spirit (Not all, but most of them). I'm not going to talk about them here because everything is already obvious about them. They invited me to a campaign and a young man came up and twisted his neck and started saying some atrocities that not even the satanic bibles appear in and the pastor said "There he is, there he is" and we were all supposed to accept all those barbarities like from God because the young man twisted his neck. And obviously immediately afterwards all the women turned their heads as if they were at a rock concert. Clear example of emotionalism and 100 other things.

Do you want to know what pastors are like who, although they express emotions, do not give emotional discharges?: Paul Washer, Sugeil Michelen, Juan Manuel Vaz…
