Is that really it?

For a long time I have been hearing people preach that the church is a place where sinners gather. I heard a preaching where a very charismatic and cool pastor like everyone wants to be now said "No, don't expect to find holy people in this church, here what you will find is a bunch of sinners gathered together" and everyone shouted AMENNNN

And I understand that there are sinners in the church because the church is a workshop for the repair of souls. But you know, my dad had a car repair shop, "The Great King" he called it by the way. Very ugly cars arrived at that workshop and I always saw how the repair progressed and it was nice for me to see how they came in dilapidated and how little by little they improved until they were painted and were the joy and pride of everyone who had worked there. (sometimes even myself)

Yes, it's true, some took longer, others less, but there was always progress and when a car passed time and remained the same, I asked, What's wrong with that car? The response was usually "The owner hasn't paid" or "The owner hasn't brought some missing parts."

But you know what? The owner of our soul has already paid the full price, not only for our salvation but also for our transformation. It is impossible to accept being told that a "church" is FULL OF SINNERS. If it is full of sinners, it is not a church, it is a junkyard, a place where they take junk and destroy it. If a church is full of sinners, it is not a church in a part of the world with a church name.

How is it possible that what the Bible says is "The pillar and stronghold of the truth" (1 Timothy 3:15) can be FULL of sinners? And I clarify, I know that there may be and that none is completely finished but a CHURCH can NEVER be FULL of sinners and if it is, it is not a church.

And I know that they say these types of things to seem inclusive and so that people do not feel resistance to entering because they are going to judge them for their sins, I understand that point but the truth is that someone who is in the workshop is not going to sit and condemn another who wants to enter.

Friend, if the church you attend is FULL of sinners, run out of there because that is not a church. Because Jesus told his church "Be holy because I am holy" and the apostle Paul always exhorted the church to be holy.

And I repeat, I am not saying that there are not people who sin, I myself still struggle every day with many things. But I just wrote the word "magic" I fight every day! and every day I am less of a sinner.

Every day I fight so that the car looks more beautiful every day, until that day when they remove me from the workshop and take me to the heavenly showroom and God boasts of me like the wonderful television series "enchúlame la machine"

Enough of those progressive phrases to attract people. I remember that when people came to the shop who wanted to take their cars to be repaired, my dad would show them the ones that were already ready so they could have an idea of how nice theirs would be when it left the shop. Likewise, there must be souls in the church. quite advanced that the newly converted says "Wow, I love the work they did for that soul, I want to look like that too."

When the church became a den of thieves and sinners, God whipped them with a belt and in the message in the apocalypse to the 7 churches, God did not reward or excuse those who were in sin.

In closing, I repeat the same thing, "if the church where you attend or plan to attend, the pastor tells you that it is FULL of sinners, run away from there, do not enter because that is not a church."
