a SLAP TO WAKE UP

 A SLAP TO WAKE UP

When I had it, I gave away more than 6 brand new smartphones; I've been without a phone for 7 years...

When I had it, I gave computers, office equipment, etc. to the church even though I didn't have a computer myself; I currently have a computer that is falling apart and every time I turn it on I have to pray and beg God to turn it on, the monitor, keyboard and mouse are in pieces and no one, absolutely no one has even offered to "seed" me half dollar to raise to buy even the mouse.

Even when I didn't have any, I shared the little that I received with another person in need. Today, being in great need, what everyone tells me is: "I love you very much, you are very special, I will be praying for you."

My intention with this is not to brag about how good I have been. My intention with this is not to boast about my good works.

My intention with this is that people who read this understand that the real life of Christians or non-Christians is usually not as shown by the prosperity gospel or as shown by the people who love to "prophesy" on the networks.

My idea is to make it clear that no matter how many biblical verses there are that say that what you sow, you reap, that God is going to protect us, that God is going to supply us and prevent us from going hungry and that no one can harm us.

The truth is that God is sovereign and he will always do what he sovereignly wants, regardless of whether that makes us seem like HE is unjust.

My intention with this is that, if someone is in need and knows as much Bible verses as I do, don't get frustrated.

Oh so many times I got frustrated thinking that the Bible was a lie, that everything was a lie!

But the truth is that true Christians do go hungry, and not because they are in sin, nor because God abandoned them.

True Christians are going to suffer injustices. And no, God will not always appear immediately and do justice or defend us. In my marriage I have sometimes seen God do justice after 20, 25 years and in other situations, he simply has not yet given him the desire to do me justice.

We read a lot that God is not going to allow them to touch us, but the truth is that yes, God is going to allow them to touch you, to hurt you.

Stephen was stoned to death, the apostle Paul was stoned several times. The apostle Paul himself says that he was hungry.

It was so horrible that the apostle Paul felt like the scum of the world (1 Corinthians 4:13).

We have Christians in the Roman circus thrown to the lions, and no, an angel did not appear and shut the lions' mouths, the lions ate them!!!

We have the first translator of the Bible into English beheaded and burned and an angel did not appear to prevent it.

And today we have our brothers being persecuted by Isis, they torture them, they remove part of their body, they force themselves to dig graves and then they kill them and bury them in the graves that they themselves dug.

I don't want to scare you, but this is also the gospel. But this part is not told because it can scare people and today the important thing is to fill temples and be a "blessed" pastor like Cash Luna or Guillermo Maldonado who have a lot of people in their churches and a lot of money in the bank.

My idea with this is not to scare but to declare a part of the gospel that is not told.

My idea with this is that they do not have as many problems as I had by not being able to understand what was happening to me because they preached so many promises to me that for me it was unheard of that a Christian could suffer. It's funny, there are churches that are pure fire, and there are other churches that talk only about blessings.

How is God going to allow so much harm to be done to me if I am his son?

Well, precisely because you are his son you have to suffer.

I once said to some people: "If I reject the suffering in which all the true children of God have participated, I would not deserve to go to the same heaven where the men of God have gone who with manliness have endured suffering for their God and their God." King"

1 Corinthians 4:11

11 Until this hour we hunger, we thirst, we are naked, we are buffeted, and we have no permanent abode. 12 We wear ourselves out working with our own hands; They curse us, and we bless; We suffer persecution, and we endure it. 13 They slander us, and we pray; Until now we have become like the scum of the world, the refuse of everyone.
