SOMETHING TO MEDITATE AND QUESTION YOURSELF FOR A WHILE
-Jesus' family thought that Jesus was crazy:
Mark 3:21 "When Jesus' relatives found out, they went to take him away, because they said he had gone mad."
-Those recognized as people of God in those times said that Jesus was possessed by a demon: Mark 3:22,30
-The priests and elders (pastors and elders and modern apostles) called Paul a troublemaker and considered him a threat, so much so that they made several plots to kill him, yes, the priests and elders.
These facts should make us question our own judgments about people.
And these facts should make us question when a pastor tells us that someone is a troublemaker or that he is demon-possessed, lest we end up hating what God loves and loving those whom God hates.
Let us remember that Saul was rejected, but he continued to reign and still won battles.
A few years ago a person told me: "Sunday, a person of authority in the church told us not to hang out with you because you are a bad influence."
Years later that person of authority was discovered as an adulterer and fornicator.
There's a reason the Bible tells us to examine everything!
Not everyone who seems to be a troublemaker is a troublemaker, nor is he who is called a demon possessed, sometimes the demon possessed is disguised as an angel of light and the one who is called a demon is a prophet of God.
I have seen people disguised as love and wisdom and they are demons.
There is a reason the Bible commands not to judge by appearances.
And sometimes just because something is "going well" doesn't mean it is right in the eyes of God. And when the person of God comes to try to fix things, they plot to destroy him saying: "Everything is fine and this 'demon possessed' wants to disrupt everything."
In Jesus' time everything was apparently fine and Jesus came "to say that everything was wrong." How dare he say that we are wrong if everything is going well?!"
To the anointed, loved by all and recognized as men of God, Jesus went and told them to their faces and in front of the people that they were wrong and that everything was bad 'when everything seemed to be very good'
The apostle Paul did the same and more than 40 people supported by priests, elders, scribes... made a pact not to eat until they killed Paul because he was a troublemaker and had insulted "the men of God"
Today they also make plots to stop killing, but in different ways.
I CLARIFY THAT I AM NOT ATTACKING ANYONE IN PARTICULAR OR A CHURCH IN PARTICULAR. THIS IS ALMOST THE ENTIRE CHURCH OF CHRIST.
Jesus said, "Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you kill the prophets and stone those who are sent to you!" Matthew 23:37
And the church is there today. Oh, but don't let a false prophet arrive so you can see how they even carry him in their arms!
I just happened to leave this here...
It's something to question yourself for a while and meditate on, right?
