I usually receive messages from Christian people and organizations inviting me to their Bible studies and Bible courses in my Facebook inbox.
Today I received another one and I couldn't contain myself and I answered this:
"Good morning, I am writing to inform you that I have a project to help rebuild a school in my city. It is biblical to help others, if you cannot help others, your Bible study is of no use to me."
It is tremendous how the church is today, a few days ago I made a publication inviting Christians to support me in my desire to help a school in the city where I live and it was interesting that several Christian Facebook groups, some for Bible study, did not even They wanted to publish the writing that I gave them.
I want to repeat, your Bible studies are of no use to me, THEY DON'T INTEREST ME! If you don't want to help the needy.
Kisses, I am Profe Bubba.
I don't read comments from Facebook groups, but it occurred to me yesterday to read one and someone asked: And what are you a teacher of? Well, up there I left you a little class on what I teach. And here below I leave you some verses for you to meditate on:
Deuteronomy 15:10-11 (TLA)
If you have the power to do good, do not refuse to do it to those who need it; Do not say to your neighbor: “Go away, come back again, tomorrow I will give you something,” when you have something to give him with you.
Proverbs 3:27-28 (NKJV)
Serving the poor is making a loan to the Lord; God will pay for those good deeds.
Proverbs 19:17 (CST)
God blesses the one who is generous and the one who shares his bread with the poor.
Proverbs 22:9 (TLA)
No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, he places it in a high place where it illuminates everyone in the house. In the same way, let his good deeds shine for all to see, so that all may praise his heavenly Father.
Matthew 5:15-16 (NLT)
Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse lepers, cast out demons. Of grace they have received; give grace
Matthew 10:8 (NKJV-2015)
They will answer me: “Lord, we never saw you hungry or thirsty. We never knew that you had to leave your country, nor did we see you without clothes. We also didn't know that you were sick or in jail. “That’s why we don’t help you.” Then I will answer them: “Since you did not help even one of the least important people in this world, I consider that you did not help me either.
Matthew 25:44-45 (TLA)
The crowd asked him:
—Then what should we do?
Juan answered them:
—He who has two cloaks should give one to the one he does not have and he who has food should share it.
Luke 3:10-11 (ESV)
Give to others and you will also receive. They will be given a quantity greater than what they can hold in their lap, even if it has been shaken and squeezed to the maximum, it will always overflow. Because with the same measure that you measure others, God will measure you again.
Luke 6:38 (ESV)
Sell what you have, and distribute that money among the poor. Make bags that never break, and keep the most valuable thing in your life in heaven. There, thieves will not be able to steal, nor will moths be able to destroy. Remember that true wealth consists in obeying Me wholeheartedly.
Luke 12:33-34 (TLA)
Stand in solidarity with the needs of believers; practice hospitality; Bless those who persecute you and never curse.
Romans 12:13-14 (ESV)
Therefore, those of us who are stronger must bear the weaknesses of the weak and not please ourselves. Let each of us please his neighbor for good, with a view to edification.
Romans 15:1-2 (NKJV-2015)
Help each other to endure difficulties, and thus you will fulfill the law of Christ.
Galatians 6:2 (ESV)
If you are a thief, stop stealing. Instead, use your hands in good, worthy work and then share generously with those in need.
Ephesians 4:28 (NLT)
No one seeks only his own good, but also the good of others.
Philippians 2:4 (NIV)
God is not unfair to forget all the work you have done and he will remember that you have shown his love by helping God's people and that you continue to do so.
Hebrews 6:10 (PT)
Do not forget to do good and share with others what you have; because these are the sacrifices that please God.
Hebrews 13:16 (NIV)
My brothers, what good can it do for someone to say that he has faith if he does not do good? Can that kind of faith save him? Suppose a brother or sister is in need of clothing or food. One of you comes and tells him: “May God bless you, keep warm and fed!” However, if he doesn't give him what he really needs at that moment, what good is he? In the same way, if faith is not accompanied by facts, it is dead alone.
